Judicial Dinner

Description

The Hampden County Bar Association will host the Annual Judicial Dinner on Thursday May 2, 2024, at The Log Cabin. The social hour will begin at 5:00 pm, with dinner and the program to follow at 6:30 pm. The event will include the presentation of judicial robes to newly appointed members of the judiciary, the presentation of the Kent B. Smith Award, and the William T. Walsh Longevity Award. This year, we will also be presenting our Law Day Greaney Awards at Judges' Night.

Our guest speaker for Judge’s Night is Honorable David A. Lowy, retired Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and a former Judge of the Superior Court.

Awardees

Law Day Greaney Awards: Nicholas Wolkowicz from the Law Library as the non-attorney recipient and Judge Claudine T. Wyner as the attorney/judge recipient for their contribution to the Hampden County legal community.

Kent B. Smith Award: Judge Michael E. Mulcahy for his work in the Mental Health Specialty Court.

William T. Walsh Longevity Award: Paul H. Rothschild for his longtime participation in the Hampden County Bar Association.
