Criminal Law Section Meeting

Please join the Criminal Law Section for a presentation by Donna Wilson on the Pretrial Services Division’s goals and mission, and the Community Justice Support Manager, Megan McBride. They will share the two Pretrial Services Pathways (Services and Treatment). As well as going over What Pretrial Conditions of Release (PTCOR), Category A & B are , Pretrial Service Entry Codes, the Court – to – Court & Prosecuting Agency information Exchange Violation/Noncompliance of PTCOR form. Donna Wilson will also speak a little about Pretrial Services Division collaboration with the Massachusetts Trial Court Judicial Information System (JISD) to launch the first ever Interactive Text Response (ITR) system which delivers text messages to remind litigants of their court hearings throughout the seven court departments. The text message reminders help reduce warrants issued for failure to appear and reduce unnecessary pretrial detention.
